Each Modern Replica is individually produced and inspected, and matched to a master proof. It is “T” hinge mounted to an acid-free backer and overmatted with 8-ply museum rag board. The image and paper is estimated to resist fading or deterioration for over 180 years. The overmat, custom selected and cut to the image, has a generous border to create a powerful effect. Framing options have been carefully selected by our experienced staff to make the most beautiful presentation possible.

Update to the prior review listed.

Thanks to the exemplary customer service from this site, the unfortunate frame situation was resolved, and my print now looks truly Spectacular.

The prior problematic frame really did not let me see how excellent this print is. If you can't afford an Ansel original then this is an excellent option. The definition on the print is great, and looks excellent when framed with a subtle frame and appropriately low profile mat. I can heartily recommend this photograph to anyone.

A Beautfiul photograph ruined by a TERRIBLE frame	March 6, 2012

I cannot convey how truly disappointed I am after receiving my Framed White House Ruin Archival Replica.

The print itself is fine (for a replica - its definitely not like a proper Ansel photograph). The Major problem happens, if you ask for it to be framed. The default selection just says the frame colour, and previously I received a nice subtle neat frame for a Special Edition Print I purchased on this site, selecting the same black frame choice.

Unfortunately, for this small 11x14 Archival Replica print, they used an Enormous fat black frame instead. On such a small print, it makes it look absolutely terrible, and looks like an eyesore on my wall! The photograph just becomes lost, and all you can focus on is the frame.

If I had known what frame they were going to use, I would have just ordered the print, and had it framed myself.

I still recommend this print, but I cannot recommend the framing they use for the archival replicas.

Just visited Booth Museum in Catersville, Ga.The photo in person is so amazing It will be my first purchase of an Original.The lines,shadows,depth of details,nothing esle to say but Awesome
