His images pushed the popularity of landscape photography while helping to motivate the American environmental movement. Through the course of the class, you will visit a number of locations from where Ansel composed some of his most famous images. At each location, you will have the opportunity to see the same image through your lens and work more in-depth with the scene around you. An outstanding experience February 12, 2017
Reviewer: Erik Endress from Ramsey, NJ United States
I had a wonderful time on this walk. Our guide was amazing, sharing very personal knowledge and expertise. She knew exactly where to go, shared the story of what happened there and worked with each of us to make our photos. At the end of the day, we all wanted the walk to continue!

This was a great opportunity to understand Ansel Adams' work in Yosemite. Seeing the locations many of the photos was very helpful and the discussion gave a really good perspective on his approach to the work. Very enjoyable and a highlight of my visit to Yosemite!

It was a smooth transaction.
I wish there were more information about the seminar as an preparation package.  $100 seminar in the city goes a long way, I believe.

Great Class June 9, 2016
Reviewer: Mark Wolf from TEMPE, AZ United States
My father in law and I attended the In the Footsteps of Ansel Adams class with Michael and we both enjoyed it. What made the class a great compliment to our Yosemite trip was that Michael discussed Ansel Adams and his life, showed us where Ansel Adams took pictures in Yosemite and discussed how he crafted the photograph, and offered advice for how we could improve our own photographs.
